The St. Regis Museum Tower is a 42-story, 5-star hotel, condominium and museum, with 269 high-end hotel rooms, 102 luxury condominiums, and a four-level subterranean parking garage. It is also home to the Museum of the African Diaspora. The project consists of 750,000 total square feet and sits on San Francisco Redevelopment Agency’s property at 3rd and Mission, adjacent to the Museum of Modern Art and across from the MosconeCenter.
The St. Regis has some of the finest interior finishes in the City and the condominiums have some of the most dramatic views of the southern portion of San Francisco.
Clark Pacific provided design-build services for the 185,000 SF of architectural precast cladding for this landmark structure. The architectural precast punched window panels each contains two colors and two distinct textures cast in a weave pattern across the whole façade. The punched window panels were pre-glazed creating great efficiencies in construction schedules.
The woven tapestry of the architectural precast concrete facade creates a rich surface that changes throughout the day.
The project has garnered numerous awards including:
ACI 2004 CONSTRUCTION AWARD
ACI 2004 STRUCTURAL AWARD
2007 PCI DESIGN AWARD
