Resting within the city of San Jose, near the airport, this nine-story parking structure that is part of the Brokaw Phase II office development. At approximately 2,080 stalls over its span, the project supports three single-tenant office buildings. For the first time, the team used perches to brace column splices in erecting this massive parking structure. The structure is enhanced with enclosed stairways, an overabundance of metal panels at the corner stair structure as well as cornice elements along the top. The metal screening and all metal accents are comprised of stainless steel to accentuate the look. An architectural white mix with sandblast finish was utilized to create a stunning exterior of the building. The white shimmering look of the structure comes from the off-white precast panels that enclose the entire structure from the outside.
